Welcome to ICSME 2019

The International Conference on Software Maintenance and Evolution (ICSME) is the premier international forum for researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to present, discuss, and debate the most recent ideas, experiences, and challenges in software maintenance and evolution.

Cleveland is located in northeast Ohio on the shores of Lake Erie. The greater Cleveland Akron metropolitan area has a population of over 2 million and Cleveland proper has a population of approximately 400 thousand. Historically it has been a strong manufacturing center and currently is host to a number of different industries that rely on software. The greater Cleveland area is also home to many major universities and the NASA Glen research center.

Cleveland has an important musical history and a top rated orchestra. This is why we have chosen the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a venue to host one of our social gatherings. While visiting, attendees may take the opportunity to both dine and explore the largest collection of Rock memorabilia in the world. Keeping with the musical theme, our other social event will offer live music and dinner at the House of Blues.
